A student of the Faculty of Education participates in the opening of the Grand REFO




Under the student Grand opening of the Franco-Ontarian student reunification (REFO), a painting of Soro Zana (SOROZ) was exposed last January 28 at the Carrefour francophone University of Ottawa. Student teacher training in visual arts at the intermediate junior, SOROZ is always looking for opportunities to create and involvement in the Franco-Ontarian community. In 2014, he participated in an exhibition at the community center in Sudbury and has a workshop in visual arts in the Greater Sudbury Book Fair.





 In his future teaching profession, wants SOROZ bring his students to develop their artistic talent and creativity by making them work on concrete projects and exposing them to cultural diversity in the arts. Sculptor and painter originally from the Ivory Coast, he has an impressive portfolio of artwork. It is possible to admire some of the Ottawa gallery or visit the Mail Art exhibition in the 21st century Bravo-South is on tour until January, 2017Cultivate a sense of belonging to the University of Ottawa is a daily challenge for students of Toronto campus. Despite the distance, this small dynamic group does not lack resources to live his identity with pride, either by getting involved in the student council, wearing the sweater of the Faculty of Education or by relying on close links them to build a strong group in Toronto. While they study away from the main campus, efforts to Ottawa to meet their specific needs nourish their membership and make them proud to be part of the great family of the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa. 


The group members are distinguished by their desire for success, their energy, their ambitions and their cohesion. Their small number gives them the advantage of being close to each other. They take to heart to help and share knowledge. Being surrounded by professors who teach in schools in their area, they benefit so many concrete cases experienced in the classroom.
